One of the most important figures an individual can have in their lives is a father. Fathers, in my opinion, are men who give support, love and security for their children. They provide wisdom, knowledge, strength, are responsible and have this indescribable care for their children; Not just men who impregnate women. Fathers are needed in our lives to teach our young boys how to be strong and hard working, to provide an example as to how a man should be a leader, a care giver and most importantly, how to respect and treat young girls and women. Fathers are also needed in a young girls life to provide an example as to how a man should love and treat a respectful female when her time is ready to be loved by another man. To tell her that she is beautiful so that she wont fall in the traps of being manipulated by guys who only want that one thing which will lead her to be hurt. To give her the knowledge and strength so that she can be confident enough to grow as a woman and be her own person, achieve the things that she wants to achieve because of the support that she has coming from a strong smart man. Provide an example for what her husband should be like. Both fathers and mothers are as equally as important in our lives but I thought that I’d put the spotlight on the young guys of our generation since there are many men who have made the big and cowardly mistake of running away. Take care of your responsibilities, love, live positively, be an example for the youths of tomorrow and create a better future for not only you, but for us.
